Pave Saw

The APS is capable of cutting prismatic specimens up to 200mm high and a cutting length up to 500mm and cylindrical specimens up to 150 mm diameter.

Matest-Asphalt-Mix-Analyser.jpg

Asphalt Mix Analyser

Combines all the processes associated with bitumen extraction and recovery.
Determines the bitumen content in asphalt mixture and characterize the properties of the reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP).

Matest-Automated-Core-Drill.jpg

Core Drill

Automated Core Drill (ACD) for fast, accurate cutting of cores from cylinders, prisms and slabs.
The ACD can produce cores of 12mm, 25mm, 38 mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100 mm and 150 mm diameter from Asphalt Shear-Box Compactor (ASC) prisms, Asphalt roller compactor (ARC) slabs and GYROTRONIC gyratory compactor or other SGC specimens (using the optional cylindrical specimen jig).

Humboldt-Ductility-Machine.png

Ductility Tester (Basic)

The H-1068X is a three-speed machine designed for standard and force ductility tests. Ductility of formed asphalt/cement or semi-solid bitumen is determined by measuring the distance of elongation before reaching the breaking point of a briquette sample, which is pulled apart at a specific speed and temperature.

It includes a quality mechanical gear box. Speeds of 1/4, 1 or 5cm per minute are selected via lever shift on mechanical gear box. The unit is a bare-bones, economical ductility machine, which does NOT include a wrapped exterior or thermal-finned, stainless steel tubes for enhanced thermal transfer.
The APS is capable of cutting prismatic specimens up to 200mm high and a cutting length up to 500mm and cylindrical specimens up to 150 mm diameter.

Supports ASTM D113, ASTM D6084, AASHTO T51 standards

Ductility Tester (Temperature-controlled)

The H-1068B is a three-speed machine designed for Standard and Force Ductility tests. The machine builds on the H-1068X machine and adds a circulating temperature-control unit.
Solid-state thermostatically controlled bath and circulator maintain water temperature within a ± 0.18°F (± 0.1°C). The unit tests three briquettes simultaneously and its DC, direct-drive motor maintains constant speed, entirely vibration-free. Speeds of 1/4, 1 or 5cm per minute are selected via lever shift on mechanical gear box.
Conforms to ASTM D113, ASTM D6084, AASHTO T51 test standards

Matest-Roller-Compactor.jpg

Asphalt Roller Compactor

Fully electro-mechanical system, that does not require any air source (compressor) or hydraulic pressure.
The sample slabs can be also cored or cut off to obtain cylinders and beams for run test, bending fatigue, indirect tensile, static and dynamic creep, stiffness and 4-point tests.

Matest-Gyratory-Compactor.jpg

Gyratory Compactor

Used to simulate and reproduce the real compaction conditions under actual road paving operations, hence determining the compaction properties of the asphalt.

Matest-Hamburg-Wheel-Tracker.jpg

Hamburg Wheel Tracker (Matest)

Perform wet or dry test with both wheels or run one wheel under dry and one wheel under wet condition simultaneously during a single test. Determine the creep slope, stripping inflection point and stripping slope.

Humboldt-Marshall-Stability-Test.png

Marshall Stability Tester

Basic test set for evaluating stability and plastic flow (Marshall tests) of bituminous paving mixtures. Includes all the basic testing equipment for performing these tests.
