Applied Micro Button Load Cell

Applied Measurements CDFT micro button load cell is designed for compression measurement applications where the absolute minimum of space is available for transducer mounting.
With capacities from 10N to 250N available and measuring just 9mm in diameter and 2.9mm in height, the CDFT is the smallest standard button load cell that we offer.  If you need to measure lower or higher forces, the CDFM3 miniature button load cell is available in capacities from 0-100N right up 0-20kN and is slightly larger at 30mm diameter and 12mm in height.
Applied Measurements CDFT micro button load cell is ideal for retro-fitment and is ideal to use in robotics and effectors, hoist and winch loads, micro-component assembly tools and machinery, keyboard button and telephone control and mechanical switches.

Applied Pancake Load Cell | Low Profile Force Sensor | DSCC

The DSCC pancake load cell / low profile load cell by Applied Measurements is manufactured in stainless steel and is suitable for use in weighing and force measurement applications.

The DSCC can operate in both tension and compression and are commonly used in materials testing and component fatigue testing applications for axial force measurements where a high accuracy, low-profile device is required.

Applied Measurements DBBSS/TSF dual axis force and torque sensor is a compact and accurate transducer designed to measure both static torque and axial load in clockwise and counter-clockwise / tension and compression respectively.

Applied Brake Pedal Load Cell | Accelerator Pedal Load Cell

The CCGBP low profile brake pedal load cell is designed to measure brake pedal or accelerator pedal force with ranges from 0-50kg up to 0-250kg. The CCGBP’s low profile of 12.5mm lends it to applications where space is at a premium.

Their integral mounting and loading plate along with their low profile, enables fast and simple installation directly onto the pedal. The brake pedal load cell can also be used on other pedals within the vehicle.

Applied Bending Beam Load Cell

The OBBS bending beam load cell design is suitable for low capacity weighing applications such as batching hoppers where a highly accurate measurement system is required.  They are also suitable for use in conveyor weighing applications.

The bending beam load cell’s high integrity hermetically sealed IP68 bellows and stainless steel construction means that it is ideal for use in process situations where regular washdowns are required to maintain hygiene standards.

Applied Measurements wireless strain gauge system is supplied with the DSCC compression load cell and T24-ACMi-SA wireless transmitter to deliver fast wireless readings of 200 per second up to 800 metre range.  A noise-free resolution of 1 in 50,000 is possible, increasing to 1 in 400,000 at a reduced output rate of 1 reading/10 seconds.

The T24-ACMI-SA is a tough miniature enclosure housing 1 off T24-SA wireless strain gauge transmitter. If a faster speed is required, the transmitter can be substituted for the T24-SAf to deliver ultra-fast update rates of 2,000 per second.

Applied Donut Load Cell | Annular Load Cell | Load Washer

Applied Measurements CCG low profile donut load cell (also known as an annular load cell, force washer or load washer) has been designed for applications where bolt tension needs to be measured with a very low-profile transducer.  They are also used in cable tension measurement applications where they are mounted at the anchor point to provide continuous monitoring.

The annular donut load cell design is inherently stiff which gives it an excellent frequency response allowing it to be used for transient measurements if required, while its rugged stainless steel construction and IP66 ingress protection rating ensure a long and maintenance-free life.

Our annular donut load cell design is one that customised regularly to suit a multitude of applications, these include even lower height versions, the current record for which stands at 5mm, fully submersible IP68 versions and versions with inserts to allow the use of a single load cell with multiple sizes of bolt.  We have also constructed very high capacity versions, with 3000kN / 300 tonnes being the largest manufactured to date, however, it is possible for us to manufacture versions rated to 15MN / 1500 tonnes and above for extreme applications.

Applied Measurements DBEP shear pin load cell design is suitable for the measurement of tensile and compressive forces across a huge range of process monitoring, offshore, civil engineering, industrial, marine and crane/lifting applications.

Applied Submersible Load Cell for use in Triaxial Chambers | IP68 to 70bar

Applied Measurements STALC3 submersible load cell is designed for use in fully submerged in water, at pressures up to 7000kPa.  Primarily they are used in triaxial chambers and can be retrofitted into existing triaxial chambers or installed into new ones.  Triaxial chambers are pressurised chambers used for testing the shear strength of core samples taken from the earth.  These provide a direct measurement of the axial compression load applied to the sample under test.  Please see gallery images above.

In addition, our STALC3 submersible load cell can be adapted for use in other applications where they will be submerged in fluids including water and oil.

Thanks to its pressure compensating system, incorporated within its design, there is no change in zero or sensitivity when the STALC3 load cell is subjected to external pressure changes.  Plus, the STALC3 also features accurate temperature compensation, excellent accuracy and stability, which is essential for the type of long term testing applications in which they are used.

In-Line Submersible Load Cell | IP68 | Underwater Force Sensor

Applied Measurements high accuracy DDEN in-line submersible load cell can be used in both tension and compression and is specially designed for applications where load or force needs to be measured underwater, or in areas subject to high humidity or the risk of flooding.

The submersible in-line load cell is sealed using ‘O’ rings to provide integrity at depths up to 10 metres as standard, with greater depths possible if the appropriate modifications are made to the design.  Applied Measurements standard in-line waterproof load cell model DDEN, is currently being used in various applications including wave tank measurement systems and mooring buoy cable tension monitoring.
